Start a Group in Your Area
Ever thought about joining a social club designed just for families with an only child? A place where you and your child can make new friends, try fun activities, and build a real sense of community?
Imagine one week baking cupcakes together, the next week learning karate. Your family will discover new hobbies, learn new skills, and make friendships that last a lifetime. Best of all, your group gets to decide what activities you do—it’s your space, shaped by your interests.

Become a Non-executive Director
Are you a trailblazer with leadership experience and a passion for community? Join us as a non-executive director and help steer The Only Child Club as we grow across the UK and beyond.
We’re looking for people who can:
- Help shape our strategic direction
- Strengthen and grow our brand
- Provide guidance and oversight to the leadership team
- Keep our enthusiastic Managing Director’s “big ideas” grounded and achievable!

NB: The position is advertised on Get Involved Norfolk, but the position is remote, so you can be based anywhere in the UK.
Become a Volunteer
You don’t have to be on the board to make a big difference. Volunteers are the heart of The Only Child Club, and there’s a role for everyone.
Whether you’re a social media whiz, an event organiser, or simply great with kids, your time and skills can help one-child families thrive. Volunteer opportunities include:
- Helping run your local group
- Setting up venues and welcoming families
- Entertaining children while parents take a well-earned tea break
- Creating and sharing social media content
